We could not do the work we do without the personal support from friends who believe, as we do, that we must care for others in our community. The Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky greatly appreciates the private gifts of support which help us help others. There are many ways to contribute to the Foundation, and we would be pleased to speak with you personally about your interests in supporting our services. Below are some simple ways to contribute to the Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky.
Gifts of unrestricted support to the Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky are vital and are used where needs are the greatest. Thank you for indicating that you wish for your contribution to be used for the greatest necessity.

You may also talk to us about leaving a gift in your estate plan, establishing a designated fund or special endowment to serve an area of personal interest to you. Please contact Julie Budden, CFRE, Director of Development at 859-525-1128 to learn more about making a special gift to the Foundation or its entities--Community Services of Northern Kentucky and the Northern Kentucky Children's Advocacy Center. Very often, caring and community conscious individuals elect to include organizations in their estate plans. Friends for Life is a special community of donors who have made financial provisions in their plans to assist the Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky. By making these gifts of a lifetime, these donors have made a personal committment to continue the Foundation's mission and leave a personal legacy for compassionate care and vital work that will continue far into the future.
By joining Friends for Life, you are leaving a significant message about your values and your wishes to make the world a better place for thousands of individuals and their families in Northern Kentucky. In addition, proper estate plans can adequately maximize assets for your loved ones and for charities of your choice, while minimizing tax consequences.

Purchasing a brick or bricks in the Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center Garden is a favorite way to express appreciation for someone or something special. Inscribe the name of your family on a brick or one in memory of someone or something special… a loved one, friend, or business; or you may recognize a special occasion such as an anniversary or birth. Your brick serves as a lasting expression of your love, honor and respect while supporting the work of Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center. The brick walkway encircles the garden at the entrance of Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center, which is a beautiful, serene setting with lush greenery. Bricks measuring 4” x 8” have three lines available for inscription. Those measuring 8” x 8” have six lines for inscription.
Between 25 and 30 million Americans suffer from hearing loss. Less than half of those who could benefit from hearing aids have them. Why? Very few insurance plans, including Medicare, cover the cost of hearing aids. Hearing aids are very expensive, costing up to $2,500 each. Those with hearing loss who can’t afford hearing aids miss out on much of the world. You can help by donating to our hearing aid bank at our Audiology & Hearing Aids department. If you or someone you know has hearing aids that are no longer in use, please consider donating them. Hearing aids in good condition are made available to individuals with hearing loss that demonstrate financial need. As some hearing aids need repair, we accept donations to defray the cost of repairing the hearing aids.
A full listing of our upcoming events can be found under the “Events” tab on our website.
