Lisa West

Executive Director, Community Services of Northern Kentucky

Lisa West was named Executive Director of Community Services of Northern Kentucky in 2011. Community Services includes Adult Day Care of Northern Kentucky and Speech and Hearing of Northern Kentucky. These organizations, formerly known as Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky, became part of the Community Foundation of Northern Kentucky in July. West’s responsibilities include day-to-day operations of Community Services of Northern Kentucky, including adult day care, Saturday respite care, speech therapy, hearing aid services, occupational therapy and developmental intervention services.

West was promoted to her new role after holding the positions of operations director, adult day care director and administrative director. She has been part of the organization since 1998. Previously, West served as emergency room operations director at Good Samaritan Hospital.

West attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College and the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing. She is also a certified trainer for the Northern Kentucky Training Coalition, training staff who work with disabled adults in crisis prevention. West is a member of National Adult Day Services Association, Kentucky Association of Adult Day Centers and Kentucky Association for Gerontology. She is also a member of the local Human Rights Committee and the Council on Aging.

Lori Freidhoff

Adult Day Care Program Manager

Lori Freidhoff, RN, joined Adult Day Care of Northern Kentucky, formerly Cardinal Hill of Northern Kentucky, in 2003 as Program Manager. Previously, she was the Assistant Director of Nursing at Florence Park Care Center and Director of Nursing at Woodspoint Health Care Center and at Lakeside Place, where she started as a staff nurse.

She has more than 30 years of experience in nursing in both the acute care setting and the long term care field, as well as rehabilitation and legal consultations.

Freidhoff's responsibilities include the daily operations of the Adult Day Center, Care planning and recertifications, health assessments for both clients and staff, infection control, maintaining appropriate staff testing and vaccinations, inservices based on individual care needs as well as client and family teaching.
 
Freidhoff has an Associate Degree in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University. She is ANCC certified in Gerontology.
