Adult Day Care

Our Adult Day Care program serves persons over 18 years of age who have medical, physical, social and/or cognitive disabilities. Our service area includes Northern Kentucky and the surrounding counties. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays.

Goals

There are three major goals of Adult Day Care of Northern Kentucky:

  • To provide daytime nursing care and supervised activity based on rehabilitation principles to medically compromised and/or disabled adults in order to maintain their ability to function in the home and community
  • To provide respite for families/caregivers in order to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care
  • To prevent unnecessary or premature institutionalization of persons appropriate for the intermediate level of nursing home care.

The program operates in compliance with the standards recommended by the National Adult Day Services Association (NADSA) and the licensing regulations of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
